The Capella Library has approximately 5000 items which are rotated through the Central Highlands library network. Please do not hesitate to ask for any titles that you cannot find on the shelves as we may be able to access them for you.

Hours:
Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 2pm to 5pm
Wednesday: 2pm to 5pm
Thursday: 2pm to 5pm
Friday: 10am to 12noon and 3pm to 5pm
Saturday: 9am to 12 noon

Capella Library membership is free, you just have to fill in a membership card and show proof of residency in the Central Highlands Regional Council area. If you are a temporary resident of Central Highlands Regional Council a deposit of $20 is required, which will be refunded when all outstanding items have been returned.

All library members are able to borrow items on a three week loan basis. They can borrow up to 20 items per card. However, the following limits apply:

• 2 non-fiction books on the same subject
• 4 magazines of the same title
• 4 talking books
• 4 videos
• 4 music CDs
• 2 DVDs
• 1 CD-Rom

Services Available:

• Photocopying: 30cents per sheet, however if you have your own paper the charge is 5cents per sheet
• Printing: Black and white printouts are charged at 30 cents per sheet or 5 cents per sheet with your own paper. Colour • • printing is charged at $1 per sheet.
• Scanning: Both black and white and colour scanning is 30 cents per page.
• Faxing: To send a fax is $2.20 per page. To receive a fax is 30 cents per page
• Laminating: 50 cents for business card size, $1.65 for A4 size and $2.20 for A3 size.
• We have 3 computers, all have a CD burner. This is a free service that is dependent on computer availablity. Bookings are advised.
• Internet: Members are permitted one free one hour session on the internet per week. More hours are available at a rate of $3.30 per hour. It is advised that you pre-book your internet time to avoid disappointment.
• Student Fees – For assignments and school projects, students are permitted to photocopy, print and scan in black and white up to six pages of information for free.
