Capella Parklands

The northern section of Capella Parklands extends along the Gregory Highway north from the heritage listed railway station and on to the banks of Capella Creek. The Parklands current development will feature a bottle tree avenue, walking paths, street art and information on the Capella township and the surrounding Peak Downs District.

The Parklands currently encompass the Light Horse monument recognising the origins of the Australian Light Horse emu plume with Capella, the Capella Geo-park, Capella Creek Nature Walk with associated bird watching area, the Capella Geo-park, the Capella Pole Murals and heritage listed railway station.

Public conveniences are located to the south of the railway station.

The southern section of the Capella Parklands will be developed at a later date
